The Show and Tell BIBLE

I got a great opportunity to review the Show and Tell BIBLE DVD's Its a two part set and the company even offers activity books and printable coloring pages.

Volume 1 the books of Moses recommended ages 3-adult.

Do you have little kids?  Ages 3 through 12?  Most picture Bibles have lots of words and not many pictures. We've reversed that. We have lots of pictures and not many words. Kids love it.
Consider this your digital-age flannelgraph, complete with 650 pictures, maps, charts, and timelines. Just use the pause button! A simple narration makes it easy for kids to understand. Maps have animation to show the routes traveled. Kids love to watch again and again.

Volume 2 The Books of History (Joshua — Esther)
is recommended for ages 3 to adult. The Books of History adds 850 new pictures to your collection, bringing the total to 1500 pictures.  Remember, USE THE PAUSE BUTTON to keep the pictures on the screen while you teach, turning the DVD into a digital-age flannelgraph.
The Holy Bible is not written like a movie. Therefore, this is not a movie--which requires words to be added to "fill in" the story. This covers every story and every book, and all of every story. A new picture every 8-10 seconds glues the kids to it. They can watch and learn on their own.

We are taking our time with both DVDs and talking about as much of it as we can. Some thing my girls just don't understand because of there age. The hotrod princess understands more of it than snoopy does. So we get in a little more discussion in. They love seeing all the pictures and ask lots of questions. I really like that I can expose them to bible study so early on even if they are not understanding all of it they are still picking up little things and that is important to me.

The illustrations in these DVDs are amazing. They are vibrant and colorful just what kids love right. I also love that the illustrations are done by artist in a variety of ages, ranging from 10 years old to 70 years old. They come from all over the USA and work very hard to bring us these wonderful DVD's. The artist spend a lot of time studying the Bible to be sure they get the illustrations accurate. The Show and Tell Bible DVD's have become a favorite part of our weekly Bible study. I love the activity books they offer a great review for the DvD lessons and make a wonderful bible study building block.

Show and Tell Bible also offers printable coloring books for $2.00 and they have between 45 and 50 pages and they have 5 different coloring books available. They are prefect for the younger kids not yet ready for the activity books.
